7 Questions You Need to Ask Your Edmonton Mortgage Broker

  7. What costs are involved?
  8. You need to know all of the costs involved from your broker. The broker should be able to break down the fees to you so that you know what to expect and how to prepare in paying for these fees.

  10. This question helps you prepare to close out the deal with your realtor. Loan processing usually takes about 21 up to 45 days. The sooner you can get your loan approved, the more smoothly your negotiations will flow with your realtor.

  11. Is there a “Good Faith Estimate” guarantee?
  12. Some lenders and brokers do not give a GFE guarantee, but there are those who do. Go to a broker than can guarantee you this.

  13. Will there be a Prepayment Penalty?
  14. Some provinces no longer allow any form of prepayment penalty. However, it would be better to ask your broker so that you are prepared for any eventualities.

These questions should be able to help you determine which of your selection can best help you with Edmonton mortgage concerns. Remember that there are a lot of options out there. However, very few can be strongly relied upon. So it is always important to ask questions in order to ensure that the person you are getting to manage your home or property loan is highly competent and can really help you with all of your needs in applying for a mortgage.
